  • Overview

    We are seeking senior level independent subcontractors to lead critical revenue cycle management improvement projects involving multidisciplinary teams (clinical, business and IT).  We focus on health care engagements with hospital and physician organizations, MSO’s and health plans. 


    Here’s a sample of the kind of work you might do for our clients: 

    • Complete revenue cycle assessments by reviewing current operations (people, process and technology) to identify high value opportunities for improvement and develop actionable recommendations.
    • Lead revenue cycle turnaround projects to improve cash collections, increase revenue and decrease denials and AR days
    • Develop detailed key performance indicators and key metrics, working with client executives to better manage the revenue cycle functions.
    • Optimize revenue cycle processes for new value and risk-based initiatives.
    • Develop training programs and procedures and train the client’s teams to ensure sustainable solutions.
    • Our consultants work with all revenue cycle related departments to:
      • Maximize the patient experience by improving Patient Access Service functions such as registration, scheduling, authorizations and front-end collections.
      • Improve encounter management working with case management and utilization review teams, by driving clinical documentation improvement (CDI) efforts, and in coding and HIM.
      • Improve Revenue Integrity activities to ensure the capture of all charges and to maximize revenue.


    We are seeking motivated, experienced independent subcontractors to work and collaborate on revenue management projects. We have found that people with these attributes tend to excel in these specialized roles:

    • Significant experience with all aspects of large cross-functional, transformational revenue cycle related projects in healthcare
    • Manage projects and lead others to be on time, on budget, and delivered with the highest quality
    • Ability to flex and work with a team or individually to provide highly specialized and/or technical expertise
    • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
    • Experience and comfortable working at all levels of an organization, including physicians, nurses, other caregivers, executives, and management
    • Significant experience with commonly used information systems such as Epic, Cerner, NextGen, McKesson, or similar systems
    • A high degree of self-motivation, integrity, versatility and flexibility
    • Willingness to travel on the West Coast based on client needs
    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree, PMP and Lean Six Sigma Certifications are a plus
