  • Overview

    We are seeking independent subcontractors who can perform at the Enterprise or Program level over multiple projects and releases within the enterprise project portfolio of our health care clients. This team member will define program governance and project structure, develop the sub portfolio schedule, establish program objectives, and manage scope and change.


    Here's a sample of the kind of work you may do for our clients:

    • Provide executive leadership and advisory services to clients in key functional areas and on their most strategic Enterprise and Program Management initiatives.
    • Track all projects within the enterprise or program against major milestones and business targets and goals.
    • Create reports and dashboards to inform executive audience on portfolio performance and delivery status.
    • Define, implement and facilitate change management, manage budgets, provide active/proactive management and forecasting, lead and facilitate executive and senior leadership meetings
    • Manage an effective project request intake management and governance process including cost benefit analysis development with business partners
    • Leverage experience with program management to assess investment options, approach and feasibility
    • Ability to quickly assess project issues and correct them through superior coaching and mentoring
    • Establish coordination across projects to ensure adequate resources are available and delivery commitments are met
    • Manage tracking of interdependencies across multiple sub-projects
    • Responsible for measuring and reporting "on time" metrics for assigned scope


    We are seeking motivated, talented independent subcontractors to work and collaborate on client projects. We have found that people with the following attributes tend to excel in these specialized roles:


    • Significant Enterprise Portfolio and Program Management experience in health care organizations
    • A high degree of self-motivation, integrity, versatility and flexibility
    • Significant experience with driving multiple aspects of large transformational projects and the ability to pivot between executive and sponsor updates to managing project plans
    • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with demonstrated experience using data-driven decision making and performing financial and operational analysis
    • 10 or more years of healthcare and or health plan related consulting
    • Willingness to travel on the West Coast
    • Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree, PMP, RN or other clinical expertise, and Lean Six Sigma Certifications are a plus
