Responsibilities

As our business grows, we are hiring an Inside Sales Representative to join our values-driven company. Reporting to the Client Solutions Leader, the Inside Sales Representative will combine excellent communication skills with a sales-related background to successfully generate new leads, develop sales collateral, and maintain the Salesforce database. The ideal candidate will multitask well, have high EQ, and be organized, energetic, creative and resilient. This is a 90%+ remote position with rich benefits.

 

Here’s a sample of the kind of work you might do:

 

• Conduct market analysis and development by researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, LinkedIn, or digital resources
• Perform lead qualification and fulfillment; work with Marketing and Client Executive team to qualify leads from various sources (e.g., digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, web site)
• Participate in exploratory calls with the assigned Client Executive; document call notes, assist with follow-up under the direction of the Client Executive
• Maintain Salesforce database of leads, contacts, and progress resulting from sales and marketing campaigns and assist with optimization
• Develop pre-sales tools and collateral under the direction of Client Executives; adapt baseline Freed collateral using client-identified needs
• Assist Client Executives with proposal development and RFP responses, with a focus on visual presentation, spell-checking, and format consistency
• Provide sales support to Client Executives by leveraging work products and credentials for the creation of sales content, including sales decks, proposals, and sales meeting materials
• Provide RFP response assistance, identify project credentials, client references, and help create content

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in an inside sales position, or related marketing and direct-sales experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable making cold calls and connecting with new contacts (phone calls, email, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel); CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
• Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
• Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Resilience and tenacity to handle rejection (both passive and direct feedback) and continue working with a positive attitude
• Process oriented approach
• Creative thinker and able to adapt and adjust to achieve the desired outcomes
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Strong work ethic; demonstrates integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
• Bachelor’s degree required

Salary range: $85K-$112K

 

Location: Must reside in CA, Northern CA preferred
