Responsibilities

As our business grows, we are hiring healthcare management consultants in California with 3-5 years of experience to work with health plans, health systems, public sector entities, and integrated delivery systems. We are looking for versatile candidates who have worked in multiple areas of healthcare management including process improvement, care delivery, regulatory compliance and quality management, provider experience, IT and analytics, as well as program and project management.

 

Here’s a sample of the kind of work you might do for our clients: 

  • Conduct operational assessments in a wide range of areas such as health plan administration, ambulatory and acute care, revenue cycle, project management offices and information technology, and deliver findings and recommendations to client leadership
  • Work on a team to provide strategic advisory services to help a client prepare for addressing audit deficiencies and building a plan for ongoing monitoring and oversight of a compliance program to identify and mitigate risks and optimize compliance operations
  • Plan for and implement a data analytics strategy through the implementation of infrastructure, tools and processes that progress an organization’s data management maturity
  • Lead a process to organize and update a health system’s network provider data for a CMS risk sharing/direct contracting innovation program to improve high-quality health care
  • Optimize administrative claims processing for a PPO network of primary care physicians and physician specialists by using project management and change management skills to identify and prioritize gaps with stakeholders, create and manage a plan to remediate gaps, facilitate and drive necessary process reengineering efforts, and align stakeholders
  • Accelerate design work, quantify financial decisions, address utilization for targeted populations and map out implementation plans for high priority projects in a Medicare portfolio 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3-5 years’ management consulting and healthcare experience
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with strategic focus
  • Ability to deliver projects on time, on budget and with the highest quality
  • Ability to flex and work with a team while being comfortable working with different levels of an organization
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, storytelling/presentation, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
  • A high degree of self-motivation, integrity, and versatility

Compensation range: $112.5K - $152K
